Women in Tech: Our Initiative to Close the Gender Gap

Women are underrepresented in tech — especially in engineering leadership. We are not waiting for the industry to fix this. Here is what we are doing.

Our Programmes

  • Targeted recruitment through women-in-tech communities and events
  • Returnship programme for women re-entering tech after career breaks
  • Mentorship matching between senior women engineers and junior team members
  • Sponsorship — Senior leaders actively advocate for women promotion candidates
  • Equal parental leave — 16 weeks for all parents, regardless of gender
  • Pay equity audits — Annual third-party review of compensation by gender

Progress

Women now represent 35 percent of our engineering team, up from 18 percent two years ago. Our goal is 40 percent by end of 2026. We publish our diversity numbers annually for accountability.
